Shark Tooth Hunting

Our last day on Sanibel.. but with such a cute little diva to look at over breakfast it's hard to be sad!
After packing up the car, Eric and the kids took our two rented bikes back (the one for Grandma and a tandem trailer for Amanda).

After a few last goodbyes to our feathered friends we were off to the Shark Tooth Beach!

We rented these nifty sand sifters to aid us in our searches.

And we found lots of pretty shells, but it wasn't until we asked our neighbor what we were looking for (and they recommended a good digging spot) that we found our first tooth.

Venice Florida is known as the shark tooth capital of the world... and it did deliver... 35 times!

Everyone got into the action...

... even Grandma!

But Eric was by far the hardest one to get out of the water!

He was finding them hand over fist and having a BALL! But we had to hurry on to our next campsite... AT DISNEY WORLD!

More to come soon...
