Downtown Disney

Our last day at Disney we decided to check out Downtown Disney... a friend of mine highly recommended it. Our first stop was the candy / bakery store where Amanda picked out this enormous cupcake as her treat.

Logan chose the create-your-own powdered candy tube. (I have no idea what they call those things). Check out these three photos of him trying one of the sour flavors!

Then we hit the toy store where we bought nothing but played with all! I LOVE those shopping trips! I took lots of photos of the kids with "their" toys and they were quite happy with that. Here is Logan's Mr. Potato Head Darth Vader creation.

And Amanda had to have photos taken with EVERY stuffed dog and cat in the store! Here is Bolt and Lady.

Then a DIFFERENT Lady and the Tramp.

Logan was in love with these pirate guns.

He and Eric had mock battles around the store displays. I'm sure the employees just LOVED us!

And Amanda had to try on EVERY hat they had for sale... here are a few of her favorites.

Then we found the Lego Land Store. Out front they had many wonderful Lego creations and the kids were cracking me up with their facial expressions.

Logan has his thumb over his shoulder telling me check this out...

... and Amanda's all "They made that out of LEGOS?!?!?"

This is their "To Infinity And Beyond!" face...

... because of these two towering above them.

Inside the store they had more Disney characters made entirely out of Legos. Very impressive.

The we had lunch at the T-Rex Restaurant. Look at Logan's expression in the left corner (it was dark so it was hard to get good photos).

After our meal we when to their dino dig site and look for dinosaur bones.

They could have spent all day there...

... all three of them!

But sadly, we had to head back to camp so Eric could catch is flight back home.

On the way back out I spied my favorite Disney character and had to get my photo taken with him. : )

And while waiting for our bus, I started taking candied head shots.

And on the bike ride back to our campsite after the bus dropped us off at the entrance (this place was HUGE) I decided to take a few photos in-route.
