Camp Week Ends Tomorrow : (

Tomorrow morning Eric and I will drive 45 minutes to pick up our monkeys at camp.  This week flew by for us and I'm sure the kids too.  As promised I've been watching for photos of my kids as they are posted online, but I haven't spotted Amanda since Monday.  I hope she is still at camp!

Here are a few photos of Logan.  He got to play a baseball game with Frank White and Al Fitzmorris.  Lucky Duck!

Camp Quality 2014

As many of you know, each year Logan attends a special week long camp for kids fighting cancer call Camp Quality.  He attended three years in Wichita, but with the move we decided to switch to a camp closer to our new home.  This new camp will also allow your sibling to attend for a year or two so Logan asked if I would sign Amanda up too.  This week both my babies are away at camp and Eric and I are rediscovering what life was like B.K. (before kids)!  We have been strolling leisurely down the isles at Lowe's shopping for home improvement items, enjoying dinner out at REAL sit down restaurants, playing cards, watching movies, and enjoying each other's company.

I have also been searching the camp photos posted online for glimpses of my two little monkeys...

Yesterday they went on a field trip to meet some Chiefs football players at training camp.  I spotted Amanda in one of the group photos.

Then today I saw TWO photos of Logan... surprise surprise... FISHING!

Tonight, my husband and I will be attending a Royals game, but tomorrow I'll post more kid photos from camp if more become available.   : )

Short Timer

We are all happy to be back home this afternoon.  This go around we where "Short Timer" visitors to the hospital.  The doctors suspect that he had a virus but were not able to nail anything down.  We will continue to monitor him closely and hope for the best.

Not Happy To Be Back

We have been having a wonderfully busy summer with swimming, traveling and visiting.  That all come to an abrupt halt yesterday evening when Logan was admitted to the hospital and we  are not happy to be back.  He has been having bouts of extreme headaches followed by dizziness, blurred vision, and vomiting.  Then his temperature spiked to the magical number that sent us to the ER.  We still have no answers to what is ailing him, but there are blood cultures in the works and he is being closely monitored.  Hopefully we will know more tomorrow.
