And we packed up camp and headed north. We stopped along the way for a glass-bottom boat tour of the coral reefs. The reefs are too far off shore to swim too so you have to take a boat. We were debating on this or a snorkel tour but Amanda just wasn't doing well with the snorkeling (didn't like the salt taste) so we opted for this.
Logan was SUPER excited because he's been asking for a boat ride since we got here. Amanda was only marginally interested.
Look at this boy! His smile couldn't get any bigger! And grandma took her Dramamine so she could join us too.
It was a two-story boat with viewing platforms on the front and back. Logan's favorite spot was pressed against the glass watching the Captain navigate.
Amanda and I checked out the view from all vantage points. Grandma had to watch the horizon until the Dramamine took effect.
After a 45 minute boat ride, we were out on the reef. The inside cabin had two huge "viewing hulls" that you could sit at and watch the fish go by. Logan was in heaven!

Amanda... not so much. (I think the rocking boat, too much sun and lack of sleep finally caught up with her.)
In the viewing window we saw LOTS of fish... parrot fish, angel fish, spadefish, tilefish, scoriponfish, triggerfish, hogfish and more!
