Amanda's Birthday Weekend

Sorry for the delay in posting this... in fact, I only have a few more minutes this morning to finish this post before it's time to get ready for another busy day. So here is a mostly photo story about Amanda's Birthday Weekend. We surprised our little horse lover with horse riding lessons.

First they learned to groom their animals.

And Saddle up.

Then it was off to the arena!

The instructor was very patient with our monkeys and made their first solo horse riding experience super positive.

If we do this full time we'll have to find our own riding helmets that fit a little better. : )

We visited the other animals on the farm after the riding lesson. They had almost as much fun feeding the other creatures as they did riding the horses!

After lunch we headed to the pumpkin patch , per Amanda's request! We drove the extra miles to go to our favorite... Walter's Pumpkin Patch.

Every year they have something new to explore... this tree house with tube slide was new to us and a big hit with Logan. It went SUPER fast!

And if you go head first you get an extra thrill : 0 !
