Last night we watch helplessly as 70 mile an hour winds tore through our yard.
We lost one of my two favorite trees... the one right next to our new patio that I build a beautiful fern and hosta flower bed around just last month.
We also had 7 other trees with major damage....
This large branch was still attached to the tree, way out of our reach so we have not determined if the new shed is damaged yet. We are waiting on our arborist come out to remove the broken branches.
Another large limb broke part of our fence, but it missed the neighbors garage. Again, this is still attached too high for us.
The storm also blew off a large section of shingles from our roof. We are waiting on the roofers to assess the damage.
Before starting the cleanup process, all family members had to have a little fun... including the dogs.
This is one of the few times the puppies can "climb" a tree and enjoy it they did!
Hunter did try to climb up after Logan once, but without those opposable thumbs it's tough to do!
Don't worry, Mom. I made sure the remaining tree was solid before letting your grandchildren climb out.
Okay, fun's over... let the clean up begin.
