Would you just look at that face! : ( Poor guy. He got a snot of antibiotics, a weird wrap on his foot, but the worst thing is that he can't go out side whenever he wants! I have to put a baggy on his foot to keep it dry and walk him on a leash so he stays off the snow drifts.
Sometimes life just sucks, doesn't it big guy?
So here he sits, on his doggy bed, staring out the widow at his wonderful backyard and wishing his momma would open the door. "Please, momma, PPPPLLLLLEEEEAAAASSSSEEEEEEE!"
And I just couldn't put that nasty Elizabethan collar on him to keep him from pulling off his bandage (as the vet recommended). I sprayed the area with Bitter Barrier (used to keep puppies from chewing things) and it works like a charm. He's licking his OTHER leg because he can't get to the hurt one. ***sigh***
Ahhhhhh, poor thing!

ReplyDeletePoor guy! When we lived in Ames, our Charlie got out and chased the pet goose next door (with clipped wings) at top-speed for several blocks. When he came home, we realized he had torn the pads all up on his paws. You could see all the pink raw stuff underneath. They did the same thing for him at the vet- glued him up and put the little "casts" on his feet. It was very painful for him, but he was like new in no time. Hope your pup is feeling better!
